Beach Clean Up Day

Enjoy a day cruising and cleaning with Skål International Sustainable Tourism Awards winner, Rob Pennicott and his team. Get to know what they do in our community, for the environment and for our industry!

How much will it cost?
$20 per person, under 5 years old is free of charge

Where does the money go?
All funds raised will contribute towards your club’s annual donation of $4000 to the Pennicott Foundation “Helping to protect our precious environment for future generations”…for more information please visit www.pennicottfoundation.org.au

What should I bring?
Be sun smart, wear enclosed shoes, bring a warm jacket, lots of water, nibbles, and BYO. Whatever makes you comfortable!

Which beach are we going to clean?
Due to weather and numbers, the location will be decided much closer to the date, and it could change last minute. So it’s a surprise!

Can I bring my own boat?
You sure can. We can meet at Dru Point boat ramp and leave together or call one of the committee members to find out the location on the day.

What will you get?
Gloves, bags, BBQ @ Dru Point, soft drinks.

Who is paying for the BBQ?
Your club is covering the cost of the food, bags and gloves (this does not come out of the funds raised for the day). Kingborough Council have kindly donated the BBQ site.

How do I get involved?
Visit the Skål Facebook page or book here: www.trybooking.com/BAFQH

One of the reasons Skål International Hobart was named International Club of Year was because of important social, environmental and sustainability projects such as the Beach Clean Up. Be proud of your club and enjoy a great day out!
